The European Space Agency (ESA) has placed an order with Kebni to supply equipment, including the Kebni SOTM terminal, for communication with a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. This order highlights Kebni’s growing relevance in the MIL/GOV satellite communications space.
Kebni’s SOTM terminal delivers high-performance satellite communication in dynamic environments with a robust and modular design. Its adaptability and ease of deployment make it well-suited for organizations seeking reliable connectivity with LEO satellite constellations from a moving platform – a segment experiencing rapid growth.
“This collaboration gives Kebni a strong foundation, as it allows us to showcase our LEO tracking capability in a real-world application. The solution we’re providing ESA for this project can be integrated into our other terminals, allowing us to better serve a growing customer base in the MIL/GOV segment,” says Miguel Svensson, Head of Sales at Kebni.
Although the order is limited in scope and volume, it offers a valuable opportunity to mature and validate Kebni’s LEO tracking technology – positioning the company to meet increasing global demand for multi-orbit satellite communications.
Further details about the project will be shared as it progresses.
