Stockholm, Sweden, October 13th 2020 – KebNi AB, a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market stock exchange in Sweden, focused on becoming a leading supplier of stabilized and mobile satellite antenna solutions, servicing international government and commercial markets, is announcing that it, in line with overall strategy, has shipped one of its new and innovative products from Satmission for customer testing in Russia.
The company announces that it has shipped one unit, the DSNG 1.8m Drive Away antenna, for customer testing and trials in Russia as part of the cooperation with its partner AMPLUS-SAT. This is part of the overall sales strategy to position KebNi in Russia. The product is covering both Ku-band and C-band satellite frequencies, making it ideal for both high speed data operation on Ku-band and for operation in difficult weather conditions with an automatic and seamless switching to C-band operation. In addition, the Drive Away solution is highly streamlined and aerodynamic and features one of the lowest profile antennas of its kind on the market.
KebNi’s CEO, Carsten Drachmann, said: “We have for some time seen a need for this type of combined Ku-band and C-band product in Asia and Eastern Europe. Covid-19 has made customer engagement challenging the past months, so I am happy that we have now been able to ship our new product to Russia for the first customer testing and verification on location. Subject to testing success and customer satisfaction in the coming months, we expect to enter into further commercial discussions with the customer”.
