The companies will jointly develop a satellite antenna using ASTG’s MIL-approved P9 robot and Indra’s unique technology and know-how relating to dual-band solutions. The first prototype is scheduled for the summer / autumn of this year. Sharp deliveries are then possible from Q4 2017, alternatively from Q1 2018. The agreement is based on the trust that was established around the P7-cooperation and the competitive advantage that the companies can create together. With this antenna as a standard solution there are good prospects for significant annual volumes. We will present this alliance and its implications already at SATELLITE 2017 in Washington, DC, March 7 to 9.
